Jonathan S. Weissman is a senior lecturer who works in the Department of Computing Security at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He began his teaching career in the year 2001 and has managed to teach more than 50 graduate and undergraduate courses. This includes cybersecurity, cryptography, systems administration, and ethical hacking, malware reverse engineering, and web design etc. This genius is an author of 3 books on networking and cybersecurity and has served as a technical editor for many textbooks. Furthermore, he is also working as a networking and cybersecurity consultant for local businesses.

Weissman has done his Master degree in Computer Science from Brooklyn College. Some of his achievements are:

He was awarded the RIT outstanding teaching award in the year 2014.
Then he received the RIT GCCIS Outstanding Educator award in the year 2018.
Next, he got Distinguished Teacher Recognition in 2019.
One of his greatest achievements is developing and teaching three courses for the edX RITx Cybersecurity MicroMasters program. He has been teaching these courses to more than 300,000 students around the world.
Moreover, he was a finalist for edX prize for exceptional contribution in online teaching and learning in the year 2018.
Weissman has won 11 teaching awards and has 44 industry certifications including the CCNP Enterprise, Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Core, Cisco Certified Specialist, and many more.
